👷 Step 1: Register as a Plumbing Apprentice
Anyone starting their plumbing career in Texas must first register with the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners (TSBPE).

Must be at least 16 years old
Must be employed under a licensed plumber
Begin tracking on-the-job experience

🪛 Step 2: Accumulate Experience
To qualify for various licenses:
Tradesman License: 4,000 hours + completion of approved courses
Journeyman License: 8,000 hours under a Master Plumber
Experience must be tracked and verified
🧰 TSBPE requires a signed affidavit from your supervising plumber with your application.
